Cozy Burrow ("the game") is a single-player puzzle game. We respect your privacy and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what data is processed, by whom, and your choices.
The game has no sign-in and no user accounts. Your progress, scores, settings, boosters and achievements are stored only on your device (local app storage). Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes them.
The game shows ads using Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads and occasional full-screen ads (these can be removed with a purchase). AdMob may collect and process:
This is used to show ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, if you consent, personalize ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent using Google's consent form, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & consent → Ad privacy choices. Purchases are processed by Google Play (or the Apple App Store). We never see your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and remember which items you own (for example "remove ads"). RevenueCat receives purchase receipts, product IDs, transaction dates, an anonymous app-specific user ID, device/app information and IP address. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
To understand how the game is played and improve it (for example which levels are too hard), we may use GameAnalytics. It receives gameplay events (such as level started/completed, scores, tutorial completion, ad and shop interactions), a random device/install identifier, device model, OS version, country (derived from IP) and session times. It does not receive your name, email or contacts. See GameAnalytics' Privacy Policy.
No name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, or camera. The game has no chat or social features.
The game is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will help delete it.
On-device data is deleted when you uninstall the game or use Settings → Reset progress. To request deletion of data held by our service providers (analytics/purchase records linked to your install), email support@hinemanstudios.com with the subject "Cozy Burrow data deletion". We will respond within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept as long as required by law (e.g. tax).
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at the email above.
Data sent to our providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
